SELEUKID KINGS. Antiochos III ‘the Great’, 222-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.91 g, 12 h), probably Seleukeia on the Kalykadnos, circa 210-200. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, forepart of a horse to left above monogram of AN. SC pl. 51, 1016 (same dies). Well centered and lightly toned, and with a superb portrait struck in very high relief. Light marks, otherwise, good very fine.
